Prayer for Grace

O God of endless mercy, I come before Thee today, my heart heavy with the weight of my own weakness and failure. I have stumbled, fallen short of Thy glory, and wounded those I love. Yet I dare not despair, for Thou art the God of grace—undeserved favor poured out upon the unworthy. I ask not for what I deserve, but for the grace that flows from Thy throne. Cleanse me from the guilt that binds my conscience. Forgive me, not because I have earned it, but because Christ's blood was shed for my redemption. Grant me grace to forgive myself, even as Thou hast forgiven me. Give me grace to extend mercy to those who have hurt me, that I might break the chains of bitterness. Strengthen me with Thy sustaining grace for the struggles ahead—not to remove the trials, but to carry me through them with hope unshaken. Let Thy grace teach me humility, that I might never again trust in my own strength. Transform my heart by this unmerited favor, that I may become a vessel of grace to a broken world. Help me to walk worthy of the calling wherewith I have been called, not by my effort, but by Thy grace working mightily within me. Glory be to Thee, O God, whose grace is sufficient, whose mercy endures forever.
