Philippians 4:13 (KJV)

Philippians 4:13 comes at the end of a passage where Paul talks about learning contentment (4:11-12). He says, 'I've been hungry and full, rich and poor, and I've learned the secret: Christ's strength is enough for all of it.' Paul wrote this from prison—he wasn't conquering the world. He was enduring chains. And in that context, he says: I can do all things through Christ. Not 'all things I dream of,' but 'all things He calls me to endure.'

The 'all things' he can do is endure suffering, face persecution, and remain faithful when everything is falling apart. That's the strength Christ gives: not to succeed, but to endure with joy.

You can't do it on your own. But through Christ, who strengthens you, you can do whatever He asks. Not in your power, but in His.
