These terms explain how BibleHint works, what you're agreeing to when you subscribe, and what to expect from us. We've written this in plain English because we want you to understand exactly what you're signing up for.

Agreement to Terms

By using BibleHint.com or subscribing to our SMS service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. It's that simple.

The Service

BibleHint provides two things:

The service is currently available to users with U.S. phone numbers. We may expand to other countries in the future.

Subscriptions and Billing

Here's how our subscriptions work:

SMS Terms (Important)

When you provide your phone number, here's what you're agreeing to:

• You consent to receive recurring automated SMS text messages from BibleHint
• Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier
• Message frequency: Approximately 1 message per day (one daily verse)
• You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message—this immediately stops all messages
• For help, reply HELP or email sunday@biblehint.com
• We support major U.S. carriers: AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, and others
• We are not responsible for carrier delays, failures, or technical issues outside our control

Important: Replying STOP will unsubscribe you from SMS messages but won't cancel your paid subscription. To cancel your subscription and stop billing, log in to your account or email sunday@biblehint.com.

Content

A note about the Bible verses and reflections you receive:

User Conduct

Please use BibleHint responsibly. Here's what's not allowed:

• Don't use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Don't attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or disrupt the service
• Don't share your account or subscription with others (one subscription = one phone number)
• Don't use automated tools to scrape or download website content in bulk
• Don't impersonate BibleHint or claim our content as your own

Intellectual Property

Important things you should know:

• The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied
• We do our best to deliver messages on time every day, but we cannot guarantee delivery due to carrier issues, phone settings, network problems, or other technical factors outside our control
• BibleHint is a Bible content service, not a church, ministry, or counseling service
• Our content should not replace professional medical, legal, or psychological advice. If you're struggling with mental health, relationship issues, or any serious personal matter, please seek help from a qualified professional
• We are not responsible for how you interpret or apply Scripture—that's between you and God

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BibleHint's total liability to you for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

Translation: If something goes wrong, the most we'd owe you is a refund of what you paid. We're not responsible for things like lost profits, data loss, or other indirect damages.

Termination

Here's how subscriptions end:

• You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by emailing sunday@biblehint.com
• Reply STOP to any SMS to immediately stop receiving messages (but remember to cancel your subscription too if you want to stop billing)
• We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms—but we'd rather work with you to resolve any issues
• If we terminate your account for violations, you won't receive a refund for the remaining subscription period

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of San Francisco County, California.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll post the changes here and update the "Effective Date" at the top. For significant changes, we'll notify active subscribers via SMS or email. Continued use of BibleHint after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
