Prayer for Wisdom

But notice the condition: you must truly lack wisdom and must recognize that lack. Pride often keeps us from asking. We pretend we know, we second-guess ourselves, we lean on our own understanding even when it's failing us. God's invitation is to lay down that pretense and ask like a child who knows they don't know.
