Who Is The Current Leader Of Jehovah’s Witnesses?
As the adherents of one of the world’s most well-known religious organizations, Jehovah’s Witnesses have a current leader – a figurehead who symbolizes the religion’s mission and beliefs. Stephen L. Lett currently serves as the Governing Body Chairman, who is the highest ranking figure in the worldwide organization.
Lett has been a part of the Governing Body of Jehovah’s Witnesses since 1993. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland and grew up in a family of Witnesses. In 1977, he attended the Gilead School and then served as a missionary in civil service in the Caribbean and a circuit overseer in the United States. In the early 1980s, Lett became an elder, and in 1989 he was appointed as a traveling representative of the Governing Body.
As the current chairman of the Governing Body, Lett leads the Governing Body’s International Bible Educational and Memorial Campaigns. The Governing Body is comprised of individual members from different countries, who believe in the central teachings of the religion and share the same values. The Governing Body helps guide and counsel Jehovah’s Witnesses with regard to their faith and activities.
Lett guides the organization’s more than eight million members throughout the world. He supports the activities of the organization by providing guidance to the Governing Body and its members. He encourages Witnesses to fulfill their spiritual goal to “do God’s will on Earth as it is done in Heaven.”
Lett oversees the daily operations of the religion and is responsible for providing spiritual direction to its members. Through his leadership and guidance, he has helped make Jehovah’s Witnesses the most organized and unified religion in the world.
As the current leader of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Stephen Lett is an important figure in unifying the beliefs of the organization and helping members live their lives according to the words of the Bible. He is a strong advocate for peace, justice, and respect for all humanity, and is dedicated to helping Jehovah’s Witnesses live a life of spiritual and moral strength.
