What Is Bound In Heaven Will Be Bound On Earth?
When it comes to being true to our faith, what is bound in heaven will be bound on earth. This is a popular phrase that is used by many people of faith, and it holds a lot of truth and meaning.
At its core, this phrase is related to how we live our lives and how our faith can affect our decisions. To put it simply, if something is bound in heaven, it will also be binding on earth. This means that if something is in line with God’s will, then it is considered binding even here on earth.
For example, God’s commandments are binding not only in Heaven, but also on Earth. We are commanded to love our neighbor as ourselves, to love God with all our heart, soul, and mind, and to live our lives according to His will. We are also bound to keep His commandments and to honor and obey Him. We are to live our lives in such a way that honors God, respects others, and makes a positive difference in the world.
On the other hand, if something is not in line with God’s will, then it will not be binding on earth. For instance, if someone were to break one of God’s laws, such as lying, stealing, murder, etc., then it would not be considered binding on Earth even if it was considered so in Heaven. God told us not to do such things and breaking his commandments is certainly not something that is binding on Earth.
In addition, this phrase can also refer to how our faith affects our decisions and actions. We are to be guided by God’s will and wisdom, not our own. By following God’s will and living according to His commandments, we can ensure that we make the right decisions and take the right actions. This could look like making decisions to help others, doing good works, or loving others and treating them with kindness and respect.
By living according to what is bound in heaven, we can be sure that we are doing God’s will here on Earth. We can also be sure that our actions will have meaning, both in Heaven and on Earth. All in all, this phrase is a reminder to live our lives according to God’s will and in line with His commandments, so that what is bound in Heaven can be bound on Earth as well.
