During these times of self-reflection, I have been doing a combination or prayer and meditation.

It wasn’t until recently, that I realized that they’re sort of the same thing.

It got me to thinking of why I started praying in the first place, and how my thoughts on prayer have changed since I was a child.

I used to only pray at Sunday School or in Church, I now pray in the checkout counter at the grocery store.

But it doesn’t matter if we pray at night or on the bus, we need to trust that God is in control over our lives.

Our need to pray is one of the ways God reveals His presence in our lives.

Why Do You Pray?

I’ve prayed for years and I only have one question, why do I keep praying?

I have been praying for a long time and have many unanswered prayers, but still pray. I pray because I think there must be some point to it, but I can’t think when it is. I want faith, I try to believe, but I’m just not sure why.

I have given up on prayer as a “fix” for our situation with our youngest because he has been out of state and I know God can do more than I can.

I have been asking God for things to help in my life and some things have happened and others were not.

I have decided if it is God’s will it will happen and if not, then I trust the Lord to take care of him. It is also easier to say yes to God than it is to make my own decisions.

What Do You Pray For?

Here are some of the things. thatI pray for, I hope it’s not too personal.

I pray for forgiveness and healing for my family.

I pray for the strength to be a better mom and wife. I know God has helped me when I ask for help, but sometimes I ask for the same things over and over and still get no answers.

I don’t know if God thinks it is easier for me to ask for forgiveness and healing or for me to do something to heal.

I still think that God should answer my prayers, but nothing happens.

I’m waiting and waiting and waiting!

I think I am on the right track when I say, “I pray because I know there is power in prayer.” I think we have all been given a special power when we pray.

God’s presence is strong within us and we can feel it when we pray to Him.

I know God is in control of my life.

I have decided to ask Him for what I want.

He is the only one who has the power to make things happen. I find my prayers at least twice a week. My heart is not broken, but I have many unanswered prayers.

When Will I See Answers To My Prayers?

I have seen some answers, and some questions I’ve asked are still out there.

I think I am on the right track when I say, “I pray because I know there is power in prayer.”

I think we have all been given a special power when we pray.

God’s presence is strong within us and we can feel it when we pray to Him. Even when we don’t understand why it happens, we know it to be true.

I think it may be more like thirty or thirty-five days. My son doesn’t know that I pray for him, but I know my prayers are important to God.

I have prayed for a long time for my family, for my father, and for my marriage. I pray for the strength to find strength and to forgive. I pray for help, peace and wisdom.

I am a praying woman and my prayers are important to God.

I have been praying for a long time but have gotten really discouraged.

I am in a place where I understand that there’s nothing I can do. My daughter is going to be a teenager and I have been praying about what to do with her. I want to tell her things that she needs to hear. It hurts because I don’t have anything to offer.

I have been praying for someone to help her in this situation, but I don’t think that has ever happened. This is a hard place for me to be.

I think of her the first thing in the morning, and the last thing at night. I find myself praying for my daughter because she needs prayers and she deserves them. I know there is no better way.

I pray for my family, my students, myself, my husband, our church, others that I know, as well. I try to be purposeful in my prayers and I find that the power of God’s love is within me and the power of His grace guides me, and brings beauty and meaning in my life.

I know God listens to my prayers and is in control of my life, even though I don’t understand why things happen. I think it is possible that God has told me that it is a long process to help the people He wants me to help. I think of how far I’m behind the times of the people I am praying for.

I’m not going to give up praying though. I don’t want to stop. I’m still learning, growing and enjoying the process.

What Happens When Prayer Practice Slips?

I think I am on the right track when I say, “I pray because I know there is power in prayer.” I know that God hears my prayers and is in control of my life.

I have been praying for a long time and there are still things that I need God to answer. He is waiting for me to ask Him for the answer to my prayers.

I know that God is a God with power and that when I pray to Him, he does answer. When I ask, I know God hears me.

When I do pray, it’s usually for myself.

Usually I don’t ask God for anything specific. I think if I did, He would give me what I asked. I pray for wisdom for myself to get along with everyone I encounter in life, to be able to be a kind friend, to be able to love and forgive, to stand on my own two feet and not always lean on other people.

When I pray, I always say ‘I love you’.

I pray a lot. When life gets hard, sometimes I pray even more.

I pray for the peace to know the lord can work through me in the way he wants to work. I have prayed for over twenty years, and I know God has been there through it all.

God can take anything from us to transform it and use it for good.

I know that God has asked me to pray and I have made an effort to do so.

I want to be strong enough to stand in my faith and not be discouraged or confused in my life when I pray, and I think God has been giving me the right guidance through whatever I pray for.

What do you think of when you pray?
