Is Kevin James Catholic?
Actor and comedian Kevin James has found tremendous success in the entertainment industry, and since his breakout role as Doug Heffernan in “The King of Queens,” he has become a household name. However, one of the questions that fans have been wondering for years is whether or not he is Catholic.
At first glance, it may appear that this is merely a question of religious preference. However, it is a topic that has been subject to much speculation. After all, Kevin James was born and raised in Mineola, New York, and his father was a veteran of the United States Army. So, is Kevin James Catholic?
The answer is yes. In an interview with The Catholic Sun, James himself confirmed that he was indeed a Catholic. He said that he was raised Catholic and attended Catholic school, and he still attends church regularly. In addition, he often uses his faith as an inspiration for his comedy material, which further confirms his commitment to the Catholic faith.
For example, he told the Catholic Sun that he once did a joke about the Pope, in which he said “the Pope is like a super hero. He can fly around the world, he knows everybody’s problems and he’s always smiling.” This joke has become a popular one in the Catholic circles, and it also demonstrates how much he values his faith.
In addition, James is a proud father of four children, who were all baptized in the Catholic Church. He has said that he wants to raise his children with values that are rooted in the Catholic faith, and he is obviously very devoted to this cause.
All in all, it is clear that Kevin James is a devout Catholic. His religious practices are evident in his comedy material, his commitment to his family, and his ongoing dedication to his faith.
